It's a while since we've had an "adventures with the rabbits" post; what have they been getting up to recently? Not getting too big for their boots, apparently:

[rabbits in shoes]

But soft, what light through yonder rabbit burrow breaks?

[the rabbits do the balcony scene]

It is the East, and Jane is the sun!

[the rabbits do the balcony scene]

He's such a romantic, Bar-Navi:

[Bar-Navi gives Jane a daisy]

"Oh, how sweet!" No, Jane, don't eat it!

[Jane with daisy]

Eat this instead:

[The rabbits in a hat, with a felt carrot]

The carrot was a present from Jane to Bar-Navi; he's grown quite jealous of it, and has been known to be distracted from his Talmud study by it...

Meanwhile, Jane is all ready to go cycling with me on Sunday:

[Jane with hi-vis jacket and cycle helmet]

Wish us luck! —Originally posted on Dreamwidth, where there are comment count unavailable comments. I guess by the time you read this, whatever luck you had will have already been decided. But since I don't know the result yet, best of luck anyway.

The rabbits in the shoe reminds me of nursery rhymes about a woman or her children living in a shoe. I can't remember titles. I have them on my computer I think.
The cycle helm is cool. How did you do that?

Polystyrene and model paint. (Unfortunately, despite my attempts to tie it into place, it blew off within ten miles of us starting.)

I forgot to ask. Had the pink rabbit finally got his bath? He looks so much cleaner.

It is probably the light that makes it look cleaner. I love the funny pictures. You can really tell a story with those. Have you thought about making a children's book? I have actually seen children's books with real photos of soft toys instead of cartoon like characters.

No I haven't. That's what Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg did too, isn't it? But I doubt I'd be any good at it; I don't have rapport with little children, certainly not enough to write a story pitched at their age.

This sounds already like a children's story. I cannot remember in which book I saw photographed soft toys maybe I saw at Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg's house. I just can't remember it. I just thought it was a great idea.
